International adoption service, counselling and support
We specialise in the placement, guidance and support of international adoptions. Our specialists have extensive knowledge of international adoption procedures and support families at all stages of the adoption process.
Help with root search and contact initiation
We offer support in tracing roots and making connections. For many adoptees, this is an essential part of understanding their identity and origins.
Seminars and workshops
Our seminars and workshops are designed to impart knowledge and develop skills that are essential for the adoption process and beyond. They provide a platform for sharing experiences and learning best practice.
Cooperation with state youth welfare offices and local specialist centers
By working together with state youth welfare offices and local specialist centres, we can draw on a broad network of resources and expertise. These partnerships strengthen our services and improve support for everyone involved.
Counselling for birth parents and adult adoptees
Our counselling also includes support for birth parents and adult adoptees. We recognise the particular challenges and needs of these groups and offer tailored support.
Adoption-specific crisis intervention
In difficult times, we offer adoption-specific crisis interventions. Our team is trained to offer effective support and solutions in crisis situations.
Parental counselling
Our educational counselling focuses on supporting and empowering parents in their role as parents. We offer practical advice and strategies to deal with the unique challenges of parenting adopted children.
Specialisation in two cultural areas for the purpose of arranging international adoption
We specialise in the placement of international adoptions in two specific cultural areas. This enables us to offer a deeper understanding and specific knowledge of these cultures, which facilitates the process of integrating children into their new families.
What is most important to us: Aftercare
Aftercare is particularly important to us. Adoption is a lifelong process that accompanies children and their parents throughout their lives. To ensure that this experience does not become a burden but a source of joy and satisfaction, we place great emphasis on the respectful appreciation of roots and the natural inclusion of the past and cultural influences in everyday parenting. Early networking with other families and ongoing contact with other children from the same country of origin or from the same children's home is very helpful and therefore a key focus of our work.
