Applicant families pay us a fee for arranging the adoption, most of which we pass on to our cooperation partners abroad. The portion that remains with us covers our costs with no profit motive.
In the meantime, the focus of our work has shifted towards aftercare and counseling services for adoptees and adoptive parents. Our workload for networking, family meetings, advice and support in the search for roots or in the event of parenting difficulties is constantly increasing, as are the inquiries from the individual countries about the well-being and sensitivities of children who have been here for a long time. Increasingly, foreign countries also want to receive feedback until the adoptees reach the age of majority and are increasingly requesting an update of the development reports.
We need support to fund such programmes, precisely because there has been no financial support from the state to date and, unfortunately, none is expected.
So, if you're still looking for a meaningful way to sponsor and would like to help the less fortunate, you've come to the right place!
Thank you for your understanding and support!
