The focus will be on topics such as being abandoned, looking different, origins, finding one's birth family, dealing with one's own roots, the adoption process, fears and worries. The children and young people are welcome to ask questions, share their experiences (e.g. of travelling to their country of origin?) or just listen. As some children have already been successful in their search and have even met their biological family, there will certainly be good tips and suggestions for those who are not yet ready. It is always very helpful for children to meet other adoptees of the same age and to network with each other.
